About

“Everyday I feel like sh**… Maybe I got used to it.” Lead Vocalist/Performer Sophia Nadder was struggling deeply with her mental health for years. It was affecting every part of her life, so she took a medical withdrawal from her dream college to figure it out. She was recommended a treatment called TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) to treat her severe anxiety and major depressive disorder. After having this treatment, she was able to completely wean off of the medicine and begin to find herself again.

Sophia Nadder began performing at just 7 years old. The first notable performance of hers was singing the National Anthem at the Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball game on her tenth birthday in front of nearly ten thousand people. Since then, she has performed the National Anthem over three hundred times at events including the Washington Nationals baseball games, the Washington Wizards basketball games, NASCAR races aired on national television, and Governor Terry Mcauliffe’s (72nd governor of VA) inauguration. When two of Sophia's friends at Berklee College of Music had the idea to start a band, Sophia was the first singer they thought of to ask. Together they formed the band and applied for a Caf Show (sought after student-run Berklee concerts that are on application basis) in one week. It was successful, and she has now been the frontwoman of the band, known as Last Minute, since 2022. They have multiple residencies in Massachusetts, including at the Burren in Somerville for College Nights and at Tempo in Waltham. She was chosen by a producer of American Idol to audition for the show for season 22 (2023).

She is currently working on developing her brand as an independent artist, and releasing original music. She hopes to shift her professional career in music to Los Angeles starting in September of 2025.
